What It Is

An authentic MAV Glass piece — 14mm joint, 90°. This external recycling ash catcher features a recycling function to allow new air in and old air out to allow the most flavorful hit. In addition to the recycling function, it also features inline percs which allows a convex percolation. It stands 6 inches tall and is available in a 14mm 90° degree joint angle to fit your favorite MAV piece.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know this part fits my piece?
Match three things: joint size (10, 14 or 18mm), gender (a female joint takes a male part and vice versa), and for angled parts the 45°/90° angle. All three are in the spec pills above - if they match your piece, it fits.
What does an ash catcher actually do?
It intercepts ash and resin before they reach your bong, so the main chamber stays clean and the water stays fresh for days instead of hours. Match its joint to your bong and keep its water level low to avoid drag.
How do I measure a downstem?
Pull out your old one and measure from the top of the ground joint to the tip. If you're between sizes, go shorter - a downstem should end about an inch above the base. Diffused tips add extra bubbles for smoother pulls.
Male or female - which bowl do I need?
Look at your bong: if the joint opening accepts parts INTO it, it's female and takes a male bowl - that's most bongs. If it's a protruding tube, you need a female part. The dime trick sizes it: a dime roughly caps a 14mm.
How do I clean glass parts?
Small parts are the easy ones: zip bag, 91%+ isopropyl, coarse salt, shake and soak 30 minutes, rinse warm. Stubborn resin on bowls lifts after a freeze first.
